My work drifts to many different periods of time, styles, cultures, and materials, yet the theme has remained unchanged throughout. Time, the slowing of it and the record of it is the underlying theme throughout my work. I am recording things as they where, are, and will be. Time destroys all things precious, all the treasures, all the cultures, all the people of the world cannot escape it. In making a recording of the past and present I am briefly steering around times effects and preserving what I find important for others. I do this in hopes that before the important things and myself are gone from this world that I can pass on their and my memories. In recording things, I record myself.
